After switching to COBie mode you can generate COBie data in Excel spreadsheet format from IFC2x3 files.

 

COBie spreadsheet has several worksheets that contains appropriate IFC data. You can select from CheckedListBox controls which Components, Types and Assemblies to include into generated spreadsheet. There are also check all and uncheck all functions for each categories.
